[Snort-users] snort-3.0.0b3 on FreeBSD 7.2 UUID library fail

Hello,

I can't get snort-3.0.0b3 to compile on FreeBSD 7.2:

I get

Failed to find libuuid.

when I try ./configure.

I've attached a description of what I tried. To summarize:

1. Tried ./configure, learned uuid was missing.
2. Installed e2fsprogs-libuuid, tried ./configure
   --with-uuid-lib=e2fs, same error, removed e2fsprogs-libuuid
   
3. Installed ossp-uuid, tried ./configure --with-uuid-lib=ossp, same error, removed ossp-uuid

I've attached the config.log from step 2 and from step 3.

I appreciate any ideas and will happily accept that PEBKAC if that is the case!
