Is it just me, or should 2.8.4 have been 2.9 instead?
Why does a sub-minor version (major.minor.sub-minor) contain so much
new functionality (specifically thinking SMB here)?
I know -- it's free; if you don't like it, tough, etc. :)
Still, moving to 2.9 would have made it clearer to users and saved
some support time, I think.
