I tried to ignore this message but I couldn't resist.

Nobody ever said security was easy. There is always a tradeoff between security and ease-of-use. EnGarde is (currently) at a 1.0.1 release point. Maybe we haven't hit that optimal point yet. Feel free to send patches.

I am (one of) their webmasters, although I did not write this article (Pete did). How about instead of publically flaming him in a childish fashion you send him suggestions on how to improve it?

Not when you use it like help desk. When you ask a question, and a developer asks you to send him something precise, and you in turn send him your WebTool address/password you are using us like a help desk.

As this is mine. Anywho, I'd be happy to drag this on with you off-list as such a rant really has no place on engarde-users, IMHO.
