Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried what you asked and found that when I rebooted and tried to access, it works now. Don't ask me why.

However, I looked at the /var/log/httpd/error_log for last night when I had my problem and found this:

[Wed Jul 10 00:05:37 2002] [error] [client 192.168.1.2] Invalid method in request ~@F^A^C^A
[Wed Jul 10 00:05:37 2002] [error] [client 192.168.1.2] Invalid method in request ~@F^A^C
[Wed Jul 10 00:07:55 2002] [error] [client 192.168.1.2] Invalid method in request ~@F^A^C
[Wed Jul 10 00:12:03 2002] [error] [client 192.168.1.2] Invalid method in request ~@F^A^C
[Wed Jul 10 00:12:07 2002] [error] [client 192.168.1.2] Invalid method in request ~@F^A^C

/var/log/httpd/access_log show this for the same time index: 192.168.1.2 - - [10/Jul/2002:00:05:37 -0700] "~@F^A^C^A" 501 - 192.168.1.2 - - [10/Jul/2002:00:05:37 -0700] "~@F^A^C" 501 - 192.168.1.2 - - [10/Jul/2002:00:07:55 -0700] "~@F^A^C" 501 - 192.168.1.2 - - [10/Jul/2002:00:12:03 -0700] "~@F^A^C" 501 - 192.168.1.2 - - [10/Jul/2002:00:12:07 -0700] "~@F^A^C" 501 -

But right now, accessing with my client gives me this in /var/log/httpd/access_log:

192.168.1.2 - - [12/Jul/2002:16:27:19 -0700] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 134

So, things are working, and I do not know what to make of the error messages.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Marty.
