Some of the updates are superceded by later ones; the earlier updates have been withdrawn from the FTP site. I will be doing the same thing soon (installing Finestra from scratch on a development box), and my plan is to simply apply the current ones in some order I determine, unrelated to the advisory sequence.

One note; you will lose some of your system logs when you apply the syslog-ng update. Save them first if it matters.
