Hello,

The problem is that clamav is in fact removed however apt-get doesn't see that.

When I try to install clamav again it says:

Code: Select all
[root@server /]# apt-get install -d clamav
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
clamav is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 0 not upgraded.

I have tried apt-get update, upgrade... apt-cache...

It doesn't work.

How can I tell apt-get that clamav is not installed?

I tried to force the install. I tried to download the source and it says:

Code: Select all
E: You must put some 'source' URIs in your sources.list

Thanks.

What is the output of "rpm -qva | grep clam"

You might also try "rpm --rebuilddb" and then try apt-get again.

Best regards,
