Doubtful. We try to stick with the standard packages for releases. You could apply that patch yourself. Just turn off selinux, install the patch per the instructions, then re-enable selinux.

simby,

If the multi-line banner is something that you really need, open up a Feature Request ticket and we will take a look at it for upcoming EnGarde releases.

However, in the minimalist view under which EnGarde operates, it may not be in the best interest to add it to the distribution as a whole. Generally speaking, the goal is to minimize the information that you give out about yourself (or your server). This appears like it would be providing someone with more information which could be used to their advantage.

Simby, compiling postfix from source is something that makes senior system administrators nervous - with good cause. I'm afraid to try to tell you know to compile it because there's an excellent chance that either I'll miss something or something will go plain wrong and you won't know how to fix it, leaving you with no mail server. Postfix is arguably the most complex code in EnGarde aside from the kernel and things DO go 'plain wrong' when trying to compile it from source. Sorry.

Heh, nope -- we've torn down the machine that we were doing bugfix verification on. You'll have to wait until it comes back up ;)
